What we collect
Date, time and place of birth. Your email address, if you save a chart or make a purchase.
That is the whole list. We do not ask for your name, gender, phone number or postal address, and there is no field in which to give them.
Why birth data is sensitive
Date and place of birth can identify a person. We treat them accordingly: they are stored to build and re-open your chart, and for nothing else.
Who it is shared with
Your birth data is sent to the service that generates the reading text, because the reading cannot be written without it.
Your email and the amount are sent to the payment provider when you buy, because a payment cannot be taken without them.
That is the complete list of recipients. We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to advertising networks, and we do not use it for ad targeting.
We deliberately do not claim that your data is shared with nobody. That claim would be false for any product that generates text or accepts payment, and a privacy policy that is false is worse than one that is uncomfortable.
What is never logged
Birth data and email addresses are kept out of application logs and analytics. Analytics records that a chart was built or a purchase completed, not whose.
This is what makes deletion real rather than nominal: there is no second copy scattered through log files.
Deletion
Write to [SUPPORT EMAIL — pending] and ask. We will confirm by email and remove your account, birth profiles and email address.
Records the payment provider is required to keep for tax and accounting purposes are outside our control and are held by them, not by us.
Cookies
We use a session cookie so that a chart you build without an account is still yours when you return in the same browser. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
